David started doing CrossFit back in 2020 right before the COVID-19 pandemic hit. He attended his first class, fell in love with the sport, but sadly the very next day the world shut down. In June of 2020 the local CrossFit gym in Watertown NY opened back up and he has been constantly doing Crossfit ever since. After serving in the United States Army for 7 1/2 years, and multiple trips overseas he began to develop some mental difficulties. CrossFit became the escape from the world that he desperately needed. It was a way to feel normal again. A way that would help him integrate back into society, especially when he was dealing with his transition out of the military.
David began coaching in January of 2021 after he was forced to by his dear friends and fellow coaches Zach and Angie Minor. However, coaching has soon turned into one of the greatest aspects of his life. His overall goal is to help people not only achieve their personal and daily goals, but to also help people achieve their mental goals as well.
David can usually be found in the gym daily either coaching members or working out. If you hear and see someone being loud and shirtless, that’s usually him.
