Angie's love for CrossFit started back in 2016 when she had little babies at home and needed something in her life to get her healthy and give her something else to look forward to, and CrossFit was just that thing. Now, 8 years later, her husband and children also love CrossFit and it has become an everyday thing in their life.
After a few years, Angie became a coach, and eventually bought and sold a successful affiliate. Now, Angie enjoys coaching regularly and participating in everyday classes. Angie is a firm believer in that continual education as a coach is necessary for her to be the best coach possible. Few things bring her more happiness then seeing her athletes meet their goals and get healthy and she is absolutely humbled and honored that they trust her with thier fitness journey. She also values and preaches the CrossFit methodology and loves talking about how our "constantly varied" movements are both interchangeable and fluid (ask her about rowing vs. the deadlift). Angie is also the head coach at The OGC and has the privilege of helping to develop coaches while overseeing the structure, safety, and teaching techniques at CrossFit OGC.
Aside from doing CrossFit with her gym family, Angie loves spending time with her husband, Zach, and their three children, Lydia, Brooks, and Nate. She loves drinking wine with friends, traveling, and reading a good book (historical fiction is her favorite). Her idea of the best vacation is Disneyland with her family and best friends. Angie is an Army veteran and believes that the USA is the best country in the world.
